Dr. Pulane Hannah Koosaletse-Mswela is an Environmental quality professional who is a microbiologist by training. She holds a PhD in Environmental Science, and MSc in Applied Microbiology. She has worked as a Research Scientist specializing in microbiology and Biotechnology. Currently, she is a lecturer at the University of Botswana and her research activities include Environmental quality and pollution Control with special emphasis on water and waste management. She is a qualified ISO 9001 & ISO/IEC 17025:2005 implementer and auditor. Dr Pulane is passionate about science communication and was Co-Principal Investigator in a NASAC-IAP capacity building programme on Advancing women participation in science communication in Botswana. She was part of the team that conceptualized and executed the Botswana National Fourth Industrial Revolution forum on behalf of the Department of Research Science and Technology. A member of the national committee organizing the National Science Week and the World Science day for Peace and Development 2018, 2019 and 2021.
