Dr. Rekha Rajan is a lecturer and researcher serving as the Head of the Department of Physics at the University of Zambia. Her areas of expertise include climate science, atmospheric physics, renewable energy, solar photovoltaic systems and applications, electronics and instrumentation. She has taught diverse courses and supervised projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has published 13 articles in international climate science journals as well as 9 conference proceedings. As a scientist at the Energy and Environment Research Group, Solar Energy Centre, she actively contributes to cutting-edge research and conducts training in the field. She plays a crucial role as one of the coordinators for the Green People Energy Project, facilitated by GIZ in Zambia. She holds the position of a Work Package 4 leader for the FAST4Future project.
